• Large Chemical and Odor Filter
  The distinctive feature of Austin Air HealthMate Plus HM450 air purifier is the activated carbon filter canister filled with 15 lbs. of Specialty enhanced "Superblend"adsorbent. It contains a mixture of activated carbon with special additives such as, Potassium Iodide and Zeolite to boost the adsorption capacity and efficiency in removal of Specific chemicals including, but not limited to: VOCs, pesticides, cuisine odors, pet odors, formaldehyde, dangerous chemicals in cigarette smoke, smoke from wood burning stove, wildfire smoke, household chemicals and many more.
  Important Notice!
  True HEPA filter and Activated Carbon canister in Austin Air HealthMate Plus are combined together in One Filter Assembly. As such, the whole filter assembly needs to be replaced when either True HEPA or Activated carbon filter reaches the end of its lifetime.
