AirPura R700 Air Filtration System

• Large Long-lasting True HEPA Filter.
  The AirPura R700 True HEPA filter traps over 99.97% of all microscopic airborne contaminants down to 0.3 micron in size to provide a superior level of protection from lung damaging dust, allergens, cigarette smoke, etc.
  The range of solid airborne pollutants effectively removed by True HEPA filter includes: mold spores, plant spores, pollen, house dust mites and debris, lung damaging dust, pet dander, bird feather dust, microscopic ash particles in cigarette smoke and smoke from wood burning stove, etc.
  
  
• AirPura R714 SUPER HEPA Filter Upgrade.
  Upgrade AirPura R700 to AirPura R714 model equipped with 99.99% @ 0.3µ efficiency Super HEPA filter instead of the 99.97% @ 0.3µ efficiency standard True HEPA filter. The Super HEPA filter has a higher filtration efficiency for all sub-micron allergens and lung damaging dust, and therefore offers greater protection to individuals with respiratory issues and illnesses. Select the Super HEPA option from the "HEPA FILTER" pull-down menu to upgrade to R714 model.
  
  
• ULPA Filter - Optional
  The optional ULPA filter available in AirPura R700 has a superior air filtration efficiency of over 99.999% in trapping sub-micron allergens and dust down to 0.1 micron. However, tighter ULPA filter provides a substantially higher resistance to the air flow, which results in a lower CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) and a reduced overall air purifier performance. The dense ULPA filter also puts an extra strain on the motor-fan assembly and may affect its longevity. For that reason, we do not encourage the use of the ULPA filter unless it is absolutely necessary.

• Large Separate Chemical and Odor Filter.
  The AirPura R700 chemical and odors filter contains a massive amount (18 lbs.) of regular activated carbon adsorbent in a separate filter canister. The substantial amount of adsorbent guarantees fast and effective removal from the air of all regular chemicals and noxious odors such as: cuisine odors, pet odors, chemicals in cigarette smoke, smoke from wood burning stove, household chemicals, and many more.
  
  
• Types of Adsorbent Used.
  Coconut Shell (standard - most widely used adsorbent)
  The AirPura R700 filter canister comes with coconut shell activated carbon as a standard adsorbent. The coconut shell carbon is the most widely used type of activated granular carbon adsorbent in high performance air purifiers for removal of wide variety of regular chemical substances found in residential and office indoor environment.
  Anthracite (optional)
  The optional Anthracite based activated granular carbon is available in AirPura R700 filter canister at no extra cost. The Anthracite adsorbent is offered as an alternative to Coconut shell carbon for individuals with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). The Anthracite based activated granular carbon is also known for effective adsorption of petroleum based chemicals.
  
  
• Polyester based Pre-filter (standard).
  The Polyester based Pre-filter is the first stage of the air filtration system of AirPura R700 air purifier. The pre-filter traps most of the larger visible dust and dirt particles to protect fine True HEPA filter from faster contamination and extend its lifetime.
  The pre-filter can be vacuumed using a soft brush right through the metal mesh of the air purifier polluted air intake grill. The pre-filter need to be replaced when it gets very dirty or ruined (usually every 9 to 12 month or so).
   
• Unbleached Pesticide-Free Cotton Pre-Filter (optional).
  The optional Unbleached Pesticide-free cotton pre-filter is available at Extra cost for the concerned customers.

AirPura Motor-Fan Power Unit

AirPura R700 employs 15% More powerful (compared to R600), yet nearly Twice as quiet EC (electronically controlled) Motor-Fan unit with variable speed control rated at 635 CFM.
The variable speed control allows users to set the optimal air flow by selecting the most suitable speed for all operating conditions.
The AirPura R700 one piece Motor-Fan assembly is factory balanced to ensure vibration and noise-free operation.
The compact single piece motor-fan design allows more room for placement of larger size filters.
The AirPura R700 electric motor and electric components are placed in a separate chamber to eliminate contact with the already filtered air and prevent its re-contamination.
