  Types of Adsorbent Used.
  Coconut Shell (standard - most widely used adsorbent)
  The AirPura C700 filter canister is filled with a coconut shell activated carbon as a Standard adsorbent. The coconut shell carbon is the most widely used type of adsorbent in high performance air purifiers for removal of nearly 4000 chemical substances in residential and office indoor environment.
  Anthracite (optional)
  The optional Anthracite based activated granular carbon is available in AirPura C700 at no extra cost. The Anthracite adsorbent is an alternative to a Coconut shell carbon offered to individuals with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)
• HEPA-Barrier Post Filter.
  The AirPura C700 oversize carbon canister takes most of the volume on the filter compartment leaving insufficient room for placement of a standard True HEPA filter. Therefore, to provide an adequate air filtration from allergens and dust, the AirPura C700 employs the single-layer HEPA-Barrier filter.
• Pre Filter.
