• Large Separate VOC and Toxic Chemical Canister.
  The AirPura V400 VOC filter canister contains large amount (8 lbs.) of the AirPura 'Super Blend' VOC adsorbent blend. The mixture of activated carbon with special additives guarantees an enhanced removal of VOCs, ammonia, formaldehyde and most other toxic chemical substances. The substantial amount of adsorbent ensures fast and effective removal from the air of all unwanted regular and toxic chemicals.
  Important Notice!
  The AirPura V400 Super Blend VOC adsorbent contains special enhancing additives, including Potassium Iodide known for releasing its own slight scent. While it doesn't affect the absolute majority of air purifier users, some individuals with elevated or multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) may experience a feeling of discomfort or irritation. Such individuals are advised to use the AirPura models equipped with regular activated carbon adsorbent instead, such as the AirPura R400 model.
  
  
• Polyester based Pre-filter (standard).
  The Polyester based Pre-filter is the first stage of the AirPura V400 air filtration system. The pre-filter traps most of the large visible dust and dirt particles to protect fine True HEPA filter from faster contamination and extend its lifetime.
  The pre-filter can be vacuumed from the outsides right through the metal mesh of the air purifier polluted air intake. The pre-filter need to be replaced when it gets dirty or ruined (usually every 9 to 12 month).
  
  
• Unbleached Pesticide-Free Cotton Pre-Filter (optional).
